Just Dating: Ways To Scare A Guy Away

byAlma Abell

If you are just entering the dating scene, and don’t want to end up Just Dating for the rest of your life, then you don’t want to scare away the men that you meet. There are quite a few behaviors that will send any man running for the hills, so read the mistakes below that you don’t want to make, unless you want to be Just Dating for the rest of your days.

Tweeting and Facebook

If you are Just Dating, you don’t want to scare him off by sharing his picture and relationship status with 396 of your closest Facebook friends. Changing that status to “in a relationship” from “single” after only a week of dating may end with you having to change it back and being single once again.

Remember, You are the Woman

The days of women being coy and shy are long gone, but you don’t have to beat him in an arm wrestling match either. Let some of your natural femininity come to the surface. You should, of course, be you when you go out on a date, just don’t come off as being more of a man than your date is.

Remember, he’s not the Daddy

There is no faster way to run off a man, you are Just Dating, than to try to foist your children off on him. In actuality, it is best if you don’t have him meet your children right away. This is best not only for your relationship, but for your children as well. If things don’t work out, the children will be crushed, and you don’t want to parade a string of different men around your children.

Don’t Whine about the Ex

The last thing any man wants is to hear you whine about how great your ex was. If he was so great, you would still be with him. For the same reason, you don’t want to compare your new date with the ex either; they are two different men.

Dating can be a hard thing to do, but it is a normal part of life. If you don’t want to be alone for the rest of your life, you should follow the tips above.
