Naturalist Sir David Frederick Attenborough began his career by hosting different nature-related programs. The famed Life series was presented by this English broadcaster with BBC Natural History Unit. In 1960s and 70s, he was the senior manager at BBC and has won BAFTA award. Fondly called as the national treasure in Britain, he was one amongst 100 greatest Britons in UK-vote 2002. With Life Series, Attenborough made history, inspiring many young documentary makers from all over the world. The techniques used in filming the series were much advanced for that time and became an inspiration for many.

Drawn from Paradise is a renowned book authored by both David Attenborough and Errol Fuller that speaks about Birds of Paradise. Fuller is a well-known artist and writer who specialises in writing about extinct creatures. The author was widely acclaimed for this work on the book The Great Auk, which was published by him.
